Space Hulk

So the mystery box was announced, and as everyone had been predicting, its Space hulk!
I'm in two minds about this release. The new models look nice, but the price is quite high (£60!). Can anyone confirm if the rules have changed or are they exactly the same old rules? Not sure i can be bothered to buy if its just the same old rules (£60 for some terminators and a couple of genestealers???!).
If they are new rules then its a totally different case and i need to get my order in!

Is anyone else getting excited about this? I've not seen a massive buzz about it amongst the bloggers, which is odd, especially given the "limited" nature of it. Also, is there only me that thinks its a little odd to do a release of a big box like this in limited numbers?

We are looking at like 100 dollars on this side of the pond that makes it pretty pricy but as people noted the original game was 50 dollars here 20 years ago. I am currently undecided. Probably will come down to whether I can get it from my FLGS or only from a GW store.

It is probably limited since they do not make the cardstock stuff so that has to be ordered in printings. Now if they sell the whole printing before the release I would not be surprised to hear about a second printing by popular demand since they can always say that by limited they meant that it would only be available until the end of the year and we just bought them faster than they were making them. GW is not one to leave money on the table.

A quick breeze through the GW website:
1.) clearly says same rules, new models
2.) clearly says one-time run

Sorry fellas, ain't no way I'm dropping $100+ for this.

Same rules??? (Hadnt spotted that on the site) Well, Im not laying down £60 for a bunch of plastic termies and stealers. Tempted to make a whole load of resin terrain at home. See how much i can make on a budget of £60...

Limited edition!

Yes, Space Hulk is back! With the same great rules and now with glorious new miniatures, the galaxy's greatest board game is now available to order - but only in strictly limited numbers. Buy your copy today before it's too late.

Pulled that right off the site.

well... it's expensive but its still cheaper than buying all those units separate... 2 box of 5 men suad terminators cost about 50 pounds... add tyranids, broodlord etc...
At first time I alos thought "damn that expensive" then i calculated how much i will spend buying them all in separate boxes and i think for somebody who have SM and tyranid army ( like me ) its money saving box. And You get some nice looking models there. That is just my opinion

Okay, so maybe i was too quick to judge. I've been watching the "unboxing" and other updates on the GW site, and i have to say, im getting quite excited now. Maybe i should order a copy...
